The 2013 edition of the Division's RMU had a wide assortment of topics for every level of modeller. Again this year it was a full day event but each period was lengthened so that each instructor had a full hour to present material and answer questions. Topics covered scratchbuilding structures, laying and ballasting track, handy tools and techniques useful for many tasks, measuring and troubleshooting electrical circuits, configuring basic DCC, complex signaling with JMRI, and a series of sessions on various aspects of scenery, rocks, trees, and water. While attendance was a bit less than last year, everyone spent a worthwhile day improving their skills.
