In celebration of National Model Railroading Month, the Division once again sponsored a Swap Meet and Open House at Wade's Train Town in Brookford, NC on November 9th. Although attendance was not a robust as it was last year, our event was still a success.

Some of the members-only tables for the Swap Meet were provided by:

Carl Baumgart's family, who were offering up items from his estate

Jack Parker, MMR, who was offering items that had been donated to the P&W Operating Society

Fred Miller, MMR, who demonstrated some of his newly developed devices for automatic train running

The Carolina Southern Division offered up pre-built structures that had been donated to the Division

Of course the Division could not pass up the opportunity to have our promotional display as part of the event

Also manning tables for which we have no photographs were: Larry Paffrath, Jack Haynes, the CSD White Elephant Table, Bob Halsey, and Gil Brauch.

Of course, a trip to Wade's Train Town layout room was a treat for youngsters of all ages.

We are looking forward to hosting this same type of event in the coming year(s) to help promote our hobby during this special time.
